PERSONAL DATA

Born in Schio (Vicenza) Italy, and there resident. Marital status: married with Maria Luisa Todeschini with two daughters and one son Occupation: Past General Hon. Consul, Ambassador and entrepreneur.


EDUCATION

After graduating in Clinic Psychology, Padova University (Italy), attended a three-year theory/training Master of Psychoanalysis in Milano (Italy).
Member of AMISI - Associazione Medica Italiana Studio Ipnosi (Italian Medical Association for the Study of Hypnosis).
Successfully completed the Course of Specialisation and Professional Update in Diplomatic Law of S.M.O. of Malta at the Department of International and Diplomatic Sciences in Gorizia, Faculty of Political Science – University of Trieste (Italy).


PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Founded and managed a diagnostic medical centre until 2000
President of the Board of Directors of construction companies in the real estate sector which built various commercial, office, industrial and residentisl structures as well as hotels Member of the Board of Directors of a bank in the Vicenza province


DIPLOMATIC ACTIVITY

Honorary Consul for the Republic of Lithuania for 7 years, followed by 8 years as General Consul
From 2009 to 2016 he was Ambassador of S.M.O. of Malta to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and in 2014 he was accredited as Permanent Representative to African Union Commission.
From 2017 he is Ambassador of S.M.O. of Malta to the Republic of Latvia.


HONORIFICS

Knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
Honorary Citizen of Marijampole Region (Lithuania).
Knight of the Order of Grand Duke of Gediminas, bestowed by the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
Member of the Institute Council of the European Union Policy and Management.
